April Theme BOM block - colored!

Ok.........I was advised that I could add the color after the stitching so I started with applying pink crayon to the ribbon and bow. I stood back and decided I like just that touch of color a whole lot. I don't think I'm going to do any more. What do YOU think?

Louanne, I think it's perfect! Where did you find that pattern? It's so cute. I've always done my coloring before stitching but it appears by your project that it works well either way.

BTW - so glad to see you back!

Pam: I've had that pattern print out for some time. I thought it came from one of the coloring book sites, but I looked at it now and there is a site on the bottom of the print out. It came from the www.ladiesinred.org site.

I don't know about the coloring after the fact. I've only done a little coloring of the pink and I have not ironed it yet. I may have to put the crayon a little heavier before I iron it. I do, though, like how just the touch of color makes it looks like a white decorated egg wrapped up in the pink ribbon.
